taking the steps needed to make your businesses more resilient. Resources
available include; videos, podcasts, written technical articles and simple
self-help check lists.
The
resources were developed by experts from Ricardo, Andersons, SAB Advisory Ltd,
the Farming Community Network, Cambridge Eco Ltd and other specialist advisers.
Access to the content of the courses is free and available to all.
The self-help toolbox covers 4 main areas of support: Farm Business, Resilience Planning, Agricultural Transition, and Wellbeing.
8 modules related to Farm Business give information on: Farm Resilience Planning, Business Structure, Developing a Business Case, Contract Farming Agreements, Accounts, Book keeping, Negotiating specialist farm support, and Benchmarking.
4 modules related to Resilience Planning give information on: Contingency Planning, Succession, Later Life Planning, and Wills and Powers of Attorney.
2 modules related to Agricultural Transition give information on: The New Farming Offer (which has replaced Cross Compliance) and Environmental Resilience.
3 modules related to Wellbeing give information on: Managing stress and achieving a work/life balance, Reaching out to Regional Groups, and Enjoying Farming.
